Silk gained her spider-powers after being bitten by the same radioactive spider as Peter Parker. Though she has many of the same powers, her agility and spider-sense are even more heightened than those of Parker’s.

When an irradiated May Porker bites the spider in her basement, the spider becomes Peter Porker, the spectacular Spider-Ham! Using his cartoon-like powers, Spider-Ham brings hilarity and justice to the battlefield.
