Caravanserai (engl.)

Description

Wealth is at your fingertips.

Caravanserai (engl.) is a strategy game for 2 to 4 players aged 12+ with a playing time of 90 minutes. Players act as stable boys in a Caravanserai, trading goods and fulfilling orders to earn dirhams. Wise resource management and debt repayment are key, with the game ending when a player reaches 32 dirhams, and the richest player wins.

Playing as humble stable boys who work in a Caravanserai, you have the privilege of being allowed into the restricted inner courtyard where local traders are not admitted. This opens up a unique opportunity for you to make some profits by doing your own business with the caravans and acquiring and re-selling the fabulous goods.

Your starting resources are modest, and you should use them wisely in order to receive and fulfill as many orders as possible. Sometimes you will need to borrow money to carry out your actions, so you must remember to pay off your debts. The first player to accumulate 32 dirhams triggers the final round of the game, but the player with the most savings wins.
